Annual membership

Annual membership is £25 per year. (Liverpool HEMA members receive complimentary membership in this club free of charge – and vice versa!)

Membership includes your public liability insurance and discounts for your attendance fees. You are welcome to attend up to 3 sessions before signing up for membership; after 3 sessions, however, annual membership is required.

Training gi

---

You are welcome to use a training gi that you already have (as long as it is all white, or a white top with black trousers).

You are also welcome to buy your gi yourself from any source or supplier.

However, to try to make things easier, we do keep a small selection of training gis in stock, that you are welcome to buy from us in person or through our online shop.

You do not need to buy a gi specially for your first session – just come along in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, and give the activity a try.

Once you decide that you would like to commit to attending more often, buying a gi is a good idea and also very helpful, because then we can do things like grips and escapes without worrying about ruining anyone’s clothing!
